Goa’s share in Indian exports is set to rise as mega projects are being implemented under the flagship Sagarmala programme that will boost Goa’s tourism potential and economic opportunities. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, the civil aviation ministry has proposed sea plane and small aircraft operations which will definitely boost tourism potential in the state. Under the Sagarmala programme a dedicated berth is being provided at Mormugao Port for cruise vessels. A dedicated international cruise terminal will handle international and domestic cruise operations. Under captain of ports, nine coastal passenger jetties are being redeveloped under Sagarmala.
