Gold Star Line will triple its container capacity to meet growing demand on an improved weekly service connecting major ports in China and Indonesia on the existing CTI service due to upgraded vessel size from 2,500 to 4,000 TEU. This new CTI service will launch on May 12 with three vessels on a 21-day rotation and aims at capturing the rapidly growing trade between two of Asia’s tiger economies.

Port rotation: Shanghai-Ningbo-Shekou-Jakarta-Surabaya-Kaohsiung-Shanghai

“China and Indonesia are two of the fastest growing economies in Asia and we are providing an express link between major ports in both countries to meet growing demand from our customers,” said Danny Hoffmann, Managing Director, Gold Star Line.
