This will be a dedicated corridor to port Visakhapatnam Ranasthalam and 47 km of NH 16 is also to be six-laned at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore.

Bids for the project are already done and the construction will start in the next four to five months, he informed. For the outer ring road of 186 km around Amaravathi, Rs 20,000 crore has been sanctioned. Land acquisition is to be done by state government. Nandigama and Kanchicharla bypasses which were pending since 2007 have been sanctioned by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Mandaviya said. The Amaravathi-Anadapur Expressway with connectivity to Kadapah and Kurnool in a length of nearly 690 km at a cost of nearly Rs 28,000 crore would be taken up by NHAI.
