Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited, one of India’s leading warship builder for Indian Navy and Coast Guard has announced its Financial Results for the Quarter & Year ended March 31, 2019.
FY19 performance financial highlights
- Revenue from Operations at Rs. 1386.43 Crs.
- EBITDA of Rs. 211.16 Crs; y-o-y growth of 29 %
- PAT Increased to Rs. 109.93 Crs; y-o-y growth of 19%
- EPS for FY19 stood at Rs.9.60 per share, as compared to Rs.7.60 per share for FY18, with y-o-y growth of 26%
FY2019 compared with FY2018:
Revenue from operations for the year ended March 31, 2019 at Rs.1386.43 Crs., compared to Rs. 1349.66 crore during the same period last year.
The Company reported Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) of Rs.211.16 Crs. 29% increased in FY19, as against Rs 164.39 Crs. in FY18.
The Company reported a healthy increase of 19% in its PAT to Rs. 109.93 crore for FY19, as compared to Rs.92.40 crore in the FY18. The Company’s FY19 PAT margin stood at a robust 7.93%, as against 6.85 % in FY18.
The Board of Directors of the Company has recommended a dividend of Rs. 5.10 per equity share of Rs. 10 each. This dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs. 1.85 per equity share paid for the financial year.
The company has recently signed a contract for eight ASW-Shallow Water Craft for the Indian Navy with order value of Rs. 6311 crore. This new order has taken the book order position of the company to a level of more than Rs. 27,500 crores as of date.
