Hapag-Lloyd has announced port rotation changes on the Indian Ocean (IO3) service. In particular, from the first week of February, the vessels deployed on the service will call the Port of Karachi instead of Port Qasim in Pakistan.

The first boxship to call at Karachi instead of Port Qasim will be the 11,400 TEU container vessel CMA CGM Pegasus which is expected to arrive at the port on 5 February.

Hapag-Lloyd has developed a ship monitoring system to view the most recent anticipated arrival and departure timings of its ships in order to help its clients organize their cargo.
