Hapag-Lloyd has announced that it will optimise the rotations of its MCA, MGX, MPS and LEX services in its continuous effort to improve schedule reliability. It will stop calling the port of Cagliari with these services as of week 19, it informed in a release.

The transhipment operations it used to perform in Cagliari will be shifted to the port of Livorno (Leghorn).

Furthermore, it will continue to offer service to Cagliari for the local market by a dedicated third-party feeder arrangement with competitive transhipment options in Genoa, Livorno as well as Malta, the release added.
