October 14, 2020: HAROPA represents the port authority of the major French trade and logistics corridor of the Seine Axis —from the maritime port of Le Havre to Paris—. SOGET is the editor and operator of the collaborative digital platform S)ONE, which connects public and private supply chain stakeholders to carry out the business, logistics, and administrative processes necessary for cargo shipping. As a Port Community System (PCS), S)ONE contains a huge amount of accurate data that HAROPA and SOGET sought to leverage to provide their customers with a value-added KPIs visualization service that encourages best practices and enhances the productivity of the port stakeholders. S)ONE is 100-percent developed on Microsoft technology. My KPIs module relies on .NET technology and the Azure DevOps Services to create a user-friendly and efficient visualization tool. Via My KPIs, HAROPA users have a tool to let them easily see which supply chain performance levers they can activate.

Thanks to My KPIs, port areas are no longer viewed as black boxes by importers and exporters as it provides visibility into processes. Logistics professionals who use the port have indeed a way to measure performance. It can be difficult to see the individual steps taken during the port passage, but the Port Community System S)ONE centrally processes and records all of these operations. S)ONE connects the community of HAROPA private and public port stakeholders to enable management of all logistical, administrative (such as customs), and business processes required to import or export commodities.

All these logistical and administrative operations are crucial processes that allow importers and exporters to meet delivery deadlines. HAROPA, representing the port authorities of the Seine Axis corridor, comprised of the major French ports in Paris, Rouen, and Le Havre, offers accurate KPIs on port passage. The user-friendly tool lets stakeholders visualize, measure, and analyze performance of the related steps and provides the ability to compare scoring to the general average to enable enhanced decision-making. With a proven track record since 2014, HAROPA is also an accurate source for supply chain stakeholders to promote their performance, which can be included in tender response files and business promotional documents.

The HAROPA marketing team worked with port users and customers to define the most relevant and useful KPIs, and then collaborated with SOGET BI experts, data scientists, and developers to design the appropriate tools found in My KPIs.

My KPIs, developed by the SOGET team, is based on data provided by the port community digital platform S)ONE, updated in real time by stakeholders, and processed with Microsoft business intelligence technology. The S)ONE module enables access to general KPIs for import and export flows, detailed by type of cargo (dry, reefer, dangerous containers) and the mode of pre- or post-shipment (road, rail, or river) combined with administrative, commercial, and logistic milestones (ship arrival and departure, customs clearance, terminal exit authorization, loading, unloading, etc.). S)ONE users can also access personalized KPIs and compare their performance to the general average.

Available through the S)ONE users’ portal, My KPIs is a complimentary offer by HAROPA to its customers. In Europe, this initiative is the first of its kind. The entire professional community can now optimize visibility for better performance across all processes.
