In a virtual ceremony held last week, Hambantota International Port Group (HIPG) Pvt Ltd., and ZPMC Lanka Company (Private) Limited signed a lease agreement for office space at the Hambantota Maritime Center.
ZPMC Lanka Company is a Board of Investment approved company, established to provide services to the port sector of Sri Lanka and the region. They joined hands with HIPG as early as Dec 2017 at the inception of the port operations.
Attending the virtual signing ceremony were ZPMC Vice President Liu Qizhong, ZPMC General Manager of Marketing & Management- Chen Qiang, ZPMC General Manager- Chen Kai, ZPMC Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Service Center-Gao Feng, ZPMC Lanka RCEO Zhang Zhiyong, ZPMC Lanka General Manager Sudath, General Manager Zhang Zhi Yong, HIPG CEO Johnson Liu, HIPG Senior General Manager Port Investment Services, Legal and Corporate Affairs Tim Xiao, HIPG CFO Raymond Mu and AGM Lalith Ekanayake.
