HMM makes maiden call at Mundra under CIX service

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) vessel m. v. Hyundai Confidence, under the China India Express (CIX) service, berthed at Mundra (Adani) Port on February 3, 2017.

HMM has deployed 4 vessels of 5,000 TEUs on the CIX service, with the following port rotation: Mundra – Port Klang – Singapore – Hong Kong – Da Chan Bay – Kwangyang – Busan – Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou

Hyundai is committed to meet the various logistical requirements of the trade by increasing its recognition and renowned brand in India. It is confident that with this new service, customers will be immensely benefited with frequency and coverage among China/South-East Asia/US East and West Coast ports.

Hyundai will also accept reefer and special equipment, said a release.

A reception was organised on board the vessel to mark the occasion, which was attended by Mr Young Dong Park, Managing Director of HMM, Mr Yogesh Parekh, Director, Seabridge Maritime, Mr Kaushik Datta Sharma, Senior VP of Parekh Group, Mr Mitesh Dharamshi, GM, Parekh Group Mundra office, as well as senior officials from Adani Ports. Mr Park presented a memento to the Master of the vessel in the presence of dignitaries and other officials from the Parekh Group and Adani.

The launch of the CIX service from Mundra will meet the long-standing demand of Hyundai’s customers for a reliable and dedicated service. The first voyage received an excellent response from the trade, the release highlighted.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
