[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) has announced that its global on-time performance in June 2017 was ranked 4th among the 18 largest container carriers.
According to SeaIntel’s Global Liner Performance Report, HMM was the 4th reliable carrier in June with a reliability score of 83.6 per cent, a significant improvement of 8.6 percentage points from the previous month when its ranking was 12th.
HMM’s reliability score in June was also 6 percentage points higher than the global average of 78 per cent among the top 18 carriers. This result was calculated for East-West, India and South America services.
Since last year’s successful restructuring, HMM has put its utmost efforts in rebuilding customer trust and improving its service quality. It has also focused on improving its schedule reliability as part of ongoing efforts to enhance customer satisfaction, the release emphasised.
An HMM official said: “This dramatic improvement in schedule reliability for June is a fruitful result of our efforts to improve service quality, and we now expect better result in July… HMM will do its best to maintain top-level of schedule reliability to reciprocate customer trust in us.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
