Andhra Pradesh will become India’s first “Drone City” thanks to an investment of Rs 100 crore by Chennai-based drone maker Garuda Aerospace. The declaration was made during a meeting with Rama Mohan Naidu, the Minister of Civil Aviation.

By promoting drone innovation, research, and development, the project hopes to establish the country as a global center for drone technology. This investment supports our goals of growing our global presence, seeking an IPO, and carrying on with the development of cutting-edge drone solutions that tackle pressing social issues, according to Agnishwar Jayaprakash, founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace.
