Indian Private Ports & Terminals Association (IPPTA) is pleased to announce the office bearers elected at the 14th Annual General Meeting.
Mr. Ragam Kishore – President
Mr Ragam Kishore is a Master of Science graduate from Andhra University with nearly 35 years experience in public and private sector. His foray into private sector in the past 15 years saw him at the helm of large PPP projects in the Ports sector and as a Trustee and Director on the Boards of Port Trust and Corporate entities. He is currently the CEO and whole time director of Vizag Seaports Pvt Ltd. Prior to joining the port sector he was Chief Regional Manager – Southern & Eastern region – SAIL.
Mr. Kevin D’Souza – Vice President
Mr. Kevin D’Souza is a Chartered Accountant and has more than 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and ports sector in India. He is currently the Director – Commercial and Business Development for DP World Subcontinent Region. He joined DP World in 1999 and has played a key role in the growth of DP World’s terminal portfolio in the Subcontinent
Mr. Mike Formoso – Secretary
Mr. Mike Formoso is the Managing Director of PSA India and responsible for PSA’s operational terminals in the country. Mike has over 20 years’ experience in the container terminal industry across 6 countries before being appointed to his current position in September 2015.
Mr. Ravi Kumar – Treasurer
Mr. Ravi Kumar is a Master of Science in Physics, Master of Arts in Economics, a Law Graduate and possesses qualifications in Port Operations and Management from the UK. He is currently Senior Vice President at JM Baxi Group dealing with PPP Projects. He is an expert in port legislation and represented the country in international forums like UNESCAP.
IPPTA is the apex body that represents the interests of the private ports and terminals throughout India. IPPTA represents the views of its members, at all for a including most Private Ports and Terminals, to Government, Regulatory Authorities, Industry Associations and Stakeholders who have an interest in this vital industry. Above all it is the role of IPPTA to work with all stakeholders to identify ways in which the industry may best serve the interests of India\\’s fast growing economy and to contribute in developing the country’s industrial and logistic policies.
