The festivities commenced with the majestic unfurling of the Indian tricolor by Shri Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, Chairman-in-charge at JNPA, who served as the esteemed chief guest. Alongside Mr. Wagh, the ceremony was also attended by various Heads of Departments, labour trustees, employees, stakeholders and their families. The port echoed with the resonating rendition of the national anthem, where all the attendees actively participated, symbolizing unity and pride.
The CISF officials added a dignified touch to the event by presenting an impressive Dog Show and Reflect Shooting demonstration, adding an element of excitement and awe to JNPA’s celebrations. The event also featured the symbolic release of bird as a gesture of freedom and peace.
Shri Unmesh Sharad Wagh addressed the audience with an insightful speech. Sharing his thoughts on the significance of the Republic Day, he said, “Republic Day holds immense significance as a day to commemorate the values that shape our great nation. It is a privilege to witness the dedication and enthusiasm of the participants and the community.
