For the first time Kakinada Customs Brokers Association (KCBA) hosted the 2nd Executive Committee Meeting of FFFAI (for the tenure of 2019-21) on December 13 and 14. On the occasion of this FFFAI event, KCBA also organised a Knowledge Session on “Customs Brokers’ Protection Measure and Way Forward” followed by Kakinada Port visit by the Office Bearers and EC Members of FFFAI. The Knowledge Session was conducted by Mr. Joshua Ebenezer of M/s. Lakshmikumran & Sridharan Attorneys, which is an eminent law firm. Mr Joshua made his presentation on Protection Measure to be taken by Customs Brokers and Way Forward in the current Regulatory and Economic scenario.
Participated by Chairman Mr Vijay Kumar; Chairman Elect Mr Shankar Shinde; Immediate Past Chairman Mr S Ramakrishna; Vice Chairmen Mr PS Atree, Mr M Satyanarayana, Mr Vinod Sharma and Mr Alan Jose; Honorary Secretary Mr Dushyant Mulani and a good number of EC Members of FFFAI from across the country, the event was very interesting and thought-provoking in terms of discussions and interactions held. Port visit was very exciting to have firsthand experience regarding facilities at this port pertaining to merchandise EXIM trade.
