Mr Madhukar Roat has taken charge as Chief General Manager of the Container Corporation of India Ltd’s (CONCOR) North West Region, Ahmedabad with effect from November 1, 2018.
Mr Roat, from the 1997 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Service, has held various commercial and operational posts in Western Railway. He has handled port operation for more than 4 years as Area Manager, Gandhidham and played a major role in initialising and opening private freight terminals in Ahmedabad Division. He was also instrumental in implementation and execution of the Railways’ new concept policy of NGR (Non Government Railway) at Kandla Port.
