Manifest filing being the very first part of the important journey in cargo movement, it is essential that Maersk provides a smooth and hassle-free experience.

To make it easier for Direct Port delivery (DPD) customers doing business with the shipping line, Customs have introduced One Time Default Intimation (OTDI) process.

The shipping line will consider the One Time Default Intimation (OTDI) by registered DPD customers for CFS nomination appearing on http://jawaharcustoms.gov.in/

In case of an HBL nomination, where the nominated party is a DPD customer then the CFS filing will align with the OTDI instructions available on the above-mentioned website.

For all multi HBL shipments, customers will need to submit CFS nomination on 72hours file.

If a shipper wishes to nominate a different CFS than that mentioned in the OTDI, then he is requested to continue to use www.maersk.com to file the preferred movement option. In case, Maersk team does not receive the online request, then the Manifest team will nominate it as per “Free Hand Volume”- i.e. subject to availability.
