This has been implemented w.r.t to Weight Mismatch cases. Maersk won’t be able to allot containers if there is a variance of 3000 kg and more between packing list & booking confirmation.
This will impact the container handover process also, i.e. (that is) each container handover will be accepted only if weight Variation of shipping bill & booking confirmation falls between range of “-2999 kg to +2999 kg “only.
In case of any booking cancellation/amendment due to container not allotted/accepted due to above variance will be billed on customer account.
