Maersk has appointed Vikash Agarwal as its new Managing Director, Maersk South Asia and he will join the organisation on 1st March 2021. Vikash Agarwal is a highly accomplished business leader and has had a successful track record of leading country-level operations with wide-ranging regional roles in the logistics industry. In a career spanning more than two decades, he has held responsibilities for managing finance, business advisory, procurement, and general management, leading large teams in the Asia Pacific region, Middle East and Africa, including holding operational responsibility for the Indian subcontinent and Malaysia. A chartered accountant by qualification, Vikash’s recent employment was with CEVA Logistics – Indian subcontinent as their Managing Director since 2014.

Vikash Agarwal will join the organisation on 1st March 2021 and will work closely with Steve Felder who will step down at the end of March 2021 to explore new opportunities within A.P. Moller – Maersk. Vikash Agarwal will take full charge of the business for Maersk in South Asia covering geographies across India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Maldives from 1st April 2021.
