The ground breaking ceremony for this low emissions warehouse was done about two years ago near Taulov Dry Port in Fredericia, Denmark and the warehouse has been inaugurated on June 24. With this facility Maersk pioneers and has set the benchmark for development of low-emission warehouses and logistics facilities, surging ahead towards its vision to achieve net-zero CO2 emissions by 2040.

The warehouse has easy access to ports, rail, road and air hub in Billund – offering perfect integrated logistics solutions that are at the heart of Maersk’s strategy. Land for the project has been provided by the Taulov Dry Port. Entire equipment of the warehouse is solar energy powered and battery powered trucks are used to operate in the premises. Hydrogen fuelling stations are planned within 150 metres of the site.
