The Maritime SheEO Conference is being organised in collaboration with The Ocean Opportunity Lab (TOOL) on the TOOL Aquarium conference platform on 23rd November 2020.
Sanjam Sahi Gupta and Birgit Marie Liodden, the founders of Maritime SheEO and TOOL, have collaborated on pushing initiatives such as gender diversity in the maritime industry since 2018, from India and Norway. They have gained support of Indian and Norwegian governments in this work, as well as a growing number of industry organizations and corporates.
Their strategic collaboration focuses on the UN SDGs, connecting diversity change-makers across borders, nurturing next generation and entrepreneurship.
The third collaboration partner in this initiative is SHE Community. They are a Norwegian cross industry equality community, organizing Europe’s biggest gender equality conferences. They also deliver the SHE Index, which measures equality parameters and ranks businesses’ deliverables on equality in a transparent way.
The digital platform TOOL Aquarium, hosting the conference, is delivered by MyOnvent, a Norwegian tech entrepreneur focused on global mobility and inclusion. The Aquarium aims to provide virtual participants with more human-centered interaction.
