Microsoft at its Building a Resilient Future summit announced the general availability of Dynamics 365 Business Central, a business management solution aimed at small and medium-sized businesses.
According to Microsoft, the new business management solution offers the flexibility of Microsoft Dynamics Navision, the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) app, to deploy in the cloud or on-premises. Users will have the option to access the solution through any mobile device to manage their businesses. Microsoft says the solution has been customised for Indian businesses as well. For instance, it comes with a tax engine comprising over 500+ pre-configured use cases and business scenarios for Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and Tax Collected at Source (TCS).
Apart from easy cloud deployment, Dynamics 365 Business Central users can also productivity-focused features such as connecting with people, insights, dashboards, and interoperability with Microsoft’s other services such as 365 and Microsoft Teams.
The company further said it was helping businesses transition from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central through specially designed configuration packages. A simplified process also helps SMBs to update their current data to the new management solution.
