MoEVing has secured accreditation from VERRA (Verified Carbon Standard) for carbon credits. This recognition marks MoEVing as the first company in India registered with VERRA for carbon emissions trading in the commercial logistics sector, signalling a transformative era for sustainable practices in the country.

Carbon credits play a vital role in the global fight against climate change, allowing companies to offset their carbon footprint by investing in environmental projects. MoEVing’s accreditation with VERRA places the company at the forefront of this initiative, validating its commitment to reducing carbon emissions through sustainable logistics.

VERRA, a non-profit organisation operating standards in environmental and social markets, recognised MoEVing’s efforts after a rigorous evaluation process. This milestone aligns seamlessly with India’s commitment to environmental stewardship, exemplified by the introduction of the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS) under the Energy Conservation (Amendment) Bill, 2022.

The company’s dedication to clean, carbon-neutral deliveries resonates with the national CCTS objectives, reinforcing its position as a responsible leader in the logistics industry.

As India’s premier electric logistics fleet, MoEVing focuses on delivering goods in an environmentally responsible manner. The company’s fleet of electric 3 and 4-wheelers, supported by a robust charging infrastructure, reflects a revolutionary shift towards greener logistics. Recently, MoEVing achieved another milestone by deploying a record-breaking 100 TATA Aces in just 90 days across various sectors, including FMCG, e-commerce, and oil and gas, in major urban centers.

Vikash Mishra, CEO of MoEVing, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, ‘We are honoured to have our efforts towards decarbonisation acknowledged by a global carbon credit trading platform like VERRA. This is testament to MoEVing’s dedication to creating a cleaner and greener future by providing efficient, electric, and eco-friendly logistics solutions.’
