Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) is back in the black with a profit of 26.875 billion yen ($ 242.139 million) for the year ended March 31, 2019, as against a loss of 47.380 billion yen in the previous year.
Estimating improved all-round performance in the ongoing fiscal, MOL’s statement said that “for the full year, we project revenue of 1,194 billion yen, operating profit of 26 billion yen, ordinary profit of 50 billion yen and profit attributable to owners of parent of 40 billion yen.”
Expecting the momentum to continue this fiscal, the statement highlighted that the company’s three core strategies’ are investing resources in fields where it has strengths, providing stress-free services that are truly convenient for customers, and developing environment- and emission-free business into core businesses, reports said.
