Moniruzzaman has also served as Bangladesh Shipping Corporation Managing Director, DEW Managing Director, Sena Kallyan Sangstha DGMIS and Commander Chattogram naval area’s Chief of Staff. He was serving as Commander of BN Fleet, before joining the post of CPA Chairman.
Earlier he successfully served as Managing Director of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC), Managing Director of DEW Limited, DGMIS of Army Welfare Organization, Chief Staff Officer of Commander Chattogram Naval Region. He is a graduate of German Naval Academy (Crew VI/89) (Marineschule Murik), PN Communication School (Pakistan), Turkish Armed Forces War College (Harp Akademileri) and US Naval Command College.
