Mormugao Port Trust conducted three competitions, namely Drawing Competition, Slogan Competition and Singing Competition for the Gifted Children of Sanjay School for Special Education, Bogda, Vasco on 16.09.2019 as a part of Hindi Week Celebrations. In all, over 30 students participated in the said competitions. Capt, Manoj Joshi, Dy, Conservator, Mormugao Port Trust and Shri. Krishna Kerkar, President, Parent Teachers Association, Sanjay School, graced the occasion. Smt. Nilam Kenkre, Hindi Officer, Mormugao Port Trust co-ordinated the competitions with active support of Smt. Suillan Fernandes e George, Incharge, Sanjay School, Bogda. The Programme was based on the theme of “Promotion of Hindi Language” being a special initiative of Mormugao Port Trust under Corporate Social Responsibility.
Also, as part of Hindi Week Celebrations, “Picture Description Competition (Written)” was held for Officers and Employees of Mormugao Port Trust on 16.09.2019 from 15:00 hrs to 16:30 hrs at HRD Center. The Competition was based on the theme of “Protecting Environment for a Better Future through Planting and Nurturing of Trees” aimed at creation of awareness as also instil a sense of social responsibility amongst Officers and Employees to plant and nurture trees.
