Addressing the issues of port congestion in the Middle East, MSC has launched a direct port connectivity service “Clanga,” which offers competitive transit times for cargo between Asia and the Middle East, enhancing trade connectivity between China, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.

This is a time and cost effective service for Middle East exports and imports into Asia, strengthening the connectivity between China, Singapore and Saudi Arabia. With a direct call from the Saudi port of Ad Dammam to Shanghai in China, Clanga service offers better connectivity between Saudi ports and Far East.

The Clanga service is set to commence in the 35th week of the year and will have the following port rotation: Shanghai, China > Ningbo, China > Shekou, China > Singapore, Singapore > Ad Dammam, Saudi Arabia > Shanghai, China.
