MSC announces new services connecting Asia and South East India

MSC has launched a new weekly service called Osprey that connects Asia to South East India ports.

It will offer direct connectivity and reduced transit times between Asian and South East Indian ports, further complementing the existing Shikra service. It will connect Ningbo to Ennore Port in a fortnight. A sailing will connect Ningbo to Visakhapatnam Port in 17 days, while the ports of Kolkata via Visakhapatnam Port will connect to Ningbo in about 19 days.

The debut sailing has been announced to depart from the port of Ningbo on 23 July with MSC Somya.

The rotation of the service will be Shanghai (China) – Ningbo (China) – Singapore – Colombo (Sri Lanka) – Ennore (India) – Visakhapatnam (India) – Ningbo.
