Currently, goods are predominantly transported by road in the region, but the new MEDLOG Inland Terminal Paris-Bruyères will provide direct access to this key trade hub by barge and rail, leaving only the last-mile delivery to trucks.

MEDLOG, the logistics division of MSC is developing a multimodal terminal in the Paris region. The so called, MEDLOG Inland Terminal Paris-Bruyères is seen as a division of the Port 2000 site (TN MSC) in Le Havre. It will offer both rail and barge connections for the trade movement. MSC’s port investment arm TiL will be funding the project, bringing to the fore Le Havre’s role as a key gateway to Northwest Europe. MSC aims for the new multimodal terminal to handle 1 million TEUs annually by 2027 and create over 1,000 jobs.

Currently, goods are predominantly transported by road in the region, but the new MEDLOG Inland Terminal Paris-Bruyères will provide direct access to this key trade hub by barge and rail, leaving only the last-mile delivery to trucks. This shift will reduce road transport and associated carbon emissions in the supply chain.
