[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The transparency plan of Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT), a novel concept initiated by Mr Sanjay Bhatia, IAS, Chairman, to streamline the processes and procedures and reduce the scope of corruption, has been successfully implemented in Mumbai Port Trust.

The main features of this concept are creating changing minds program and responsibility authority matrix for officials dealing with tenders from estimate stage to final execution, e-payments and e-receipts, mobile app for stakeholders’ grievances, computerised access control system and e-applications for licences/permits/document submissions.

The Chairman has taken the initiative to eradicate corruption by introducing Grievance Redressal System, putting in place Whistleblower Policy and e-governance along with online, real-time customer feedback.

The CVC has appreciated this novel concept and has acknowledged the same by publishing it in its Annual Report 2016.

The Chairman conveyed his best wishes to the officers and staff of the Port and congratulated them on this achievement.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
