Mundra Port breaks its own record, docks largest container ship

MSC Anna has an overall length of 400 meters and a capacity of 19,200 teus, which makes it the largest ship by capacity to call at an Indian port.

MSC Anna, which is 400 meters long has docked at Mundra Port, making it the largest vessel which has ever docked at the private port. Last year in July, MV MSC Hamburg had docked at the port which is just one metre short in length than MSC Anna. MSC Anna has an overall length of 400 meters and a capacity of 19,200 teus, which makes it the largest ship by capacity to call at an Indian port. The ship has a draft requirement of 16.3 meters which can only be met by Mundra Port currently.
