Musa becomes Mongla Port chairman

Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa joined the Port of Mongla as chairman after signing the hand-over book on Monday.

He replaced Rear Admiral Mohammad Shahjahan in the position, said a press release.

In his long career, he served the country in many positions. He received the National Standard Award as the captain of Bangladesh Navy ship BNS Bangabandhu in 2013 and BNS Titumir also received the National Standard Award under his leadership in 2019.

Musa joined the Bangladesh Navy in January 1985. On July 1, 1987, he was commissioned to the executive branch from the royal navy of Malayasia. He completed many professional courses in the country and abroad.

He obtained four master’s degrees from different international universities, inluding King’s College of London. He finished his master’s of philosophy in 2015.
