Nepal Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Dilendra Prasad Badu, stressed the need for operating container train transportation after resolving problems relating to compensation for acquiring lands for the project in Katahari in Morang.
He said, the incumbent government was ready to make reforms in the monetary policy for helping the private sector. As per suggestions from entrepreneurs’ associations the government is providing subsidies through the budget in land, energy and export industries.
He stressed the need for the private sector to increase industrial and agricultural production so as to remove dependence on foods and other essentials and maintain trade. He invited the private sector should play an important role in carrying our reforms in import-oriented economy of the country.
