August 20, 2020: Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR) has recorded huge increase in revenues from goods trains. significant increase in revenues has also been recorded from trade with Bangladesh. NFR has transported more than 3000 inbound freight carrying trains since the lockdown. Out of these 682 freight trains were unloaded in July and during the same month 60 goods laden rakes were interchanged with Bangladesh, which include 20 maize laden rakes.
