Exporters predict that India’s oilseed exports will experience a growth rate of 10-15 per cent in the current fiscal year due to substantial orders from Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa. In the previous year, oilseed exports surged by more than 20 per cent to reach USD 1.33 billion (approximately Rs 10,900 crore). Groundnut, sesame, soybean, castor, niger, and sunflower are the primary oilseeds exported by India.
