Export/Import cargo can be seamlessly routed via Balmer Lawrie CFS, utilizing rail services to connect with mainline vessels at Nhava Sheva Port. This enhanced connectivity provides direct access to key global destinations, including the USA, Europe, the Mediterranean, and Africa.
Inbound shipments will also benefit from this service, with cargo discharged from mainline vessels at Nhava Sheva Port and transported by rail to Balmer Lawrie CFS in Kolkata for efficient delivery.
New Service features include fixed day train departure from Balmer Lawrie CFS, Kolkata (Wednesday Cut off, Thursday departure), export cargo moving by rail gets connected directly in mainline ships at Nhava Sheva Port, import cargo gets discharged at Nhava Sheva port for onward connection to Kolkata by Rail, no more waiting time at Transshipment point (Singapore, Port Kelang & Colombo) for connection in mainline & feeder ships respectively for export & import shipments, and huge improvement in point-to-point transit time and consistency to plan your valued shipment.
