Petcoke shipped to Orient cement in Bangladesh

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Paradip Port shipped Petcoke produced in Indian Oil’s refinery in Paradip to Orient Cement in Bangladesh, via the coastal route.

Around 11,951 metric tonnes of the fuel was shipped from the Port on 29th December 2016 and arrived on February 28 2017 in Bangladesh.

The port registered a business track-record in the 2016-2017 fiscal year, arising as the second major Indian port in terms of cargo handling in 2017, after Kandla Port. During this fiscal year, traffic throughput reached 88.95 million metric tonnes, a 16.46 per cent growth when compared to the previous fiscal, and surpassing the previous record of 76.39 million metric tonnes.

In March 2016, the port’s handled cargo also reached a record of 8.34 million metric tonnes, surpassing the previous record of 8.06 million metric tonnes handled during the month of July 2016.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
