The Port of Antwerp announced the appointment of Mr. Daljit Singh Kohli as their new International Representative for India, from November 1st onwards.
Born on November 1st, 1976, Daljit obtained a B.E.in Civil Engineering at the Jaysingpur Dr.J.J.Magdum College of Engineering in 1998, which he later completed with a MBA (Marketing) from Bharathi Vidyapeeth’s IMRDA in Sangli, and a Master of Financial Analysis at ICFAI, Tripura.
Daljit started his career as self-employed civil engineer consultant. In 2003 he became Deputy Manager at ‘Business Access India’ (a business consultancy group specialized in providing India Entry Strategies for Scandinavian companies). In 2008, he joined ‘New Zealand Trade & Enterprise’ (the economic development agency of the NZ Government) where he acted as Business Development Manager South Asia untill now.
A true trade facilitator, Daljit brings 20 years of broad experience and network in many domains (strategy building, marketing & business development, project management & implementation) and in multiple sectors (from food & beverages over healthcare, manufacturing, construction … to sectors like IT and renewable energy) and worked with multi-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Daljit lives in Mumbai with his family. He is married to Harleen and proud father of a 6 month-baby-daughter Kiara.
