The feat was accomplished without any congestion woes and further strengthening the port’s position as a transhipment hub. Two years back, in 2022, Tanjung Pelepas made history to be the first container terminal in Malaysia that has surpassed 1 million teus in a month, setting a record of 1,001,819 teus at that time.
