Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd – India’s largest port developer & operator and Wilhelmshaven Freight Village Container Terminal – only deep water container terminal in Germany, is jointly owned and operated by Eurogate and APMT organized a roadshow at ITC Maratha in Mumbai on 26th Feb 2020. APSEZ and Wilhelmshaven Freight Village Container Terminal had signed a marketing agreement on 25th June 2019 to collaborate in areas that will promote trade and container shipping business between Adani Ports and Wilhelmshaven Port.
The Roadshow marked a successful journey of cooperation between APSEZ and Wilhelmshaven Freight Village Container Terminal. This event saw a turnout of more than 100 senior stakeholders from the shipping industry who were presented a great networking opportunity. The event also showcased a niche endeavour for stakeholders to have a glimpse at the infrastructure, capabilities and performance of APSEZ and Wilhelmshaven Freight Village Container Terminal.
Freight Village at Wilhelmshaven and APSEZ at Mundra is the largest port based SEZ in India supplements the container terminal with industrial zones & trimodal transport connections. The roadshow presented shipping fraternity a unique opportunity to touch and feel the services available at industrial zones Wilhelmshaven Port and Adani Ports along with liner services at container terminals that will add value to the supply chain of various products.

For 7 years Port of Wilhelmshaven is connected to India via Mundra and Nhava Sheva through ME1 service of Maersk, Safmarine and Hamburg Sud.
