A record loading of thermal coal was witnessed at Kakinada deep water port recently. M/s Bothra Shipping Services Pvt Ltd, as Cargo Handling Agents, achieved an average load rate of 51,892.00MT per day on a vessel, MV JAL VAIBHAV owned and operated by them, which is the highest load rate ever achieved at Kakinada deep water port. The cargo was consigned to NTPC, Kudgi. Bothra Shipping Services Pvt. Ltd, is part of the Bothra Group of Companies which owns a fleet of dry bulk vessels, besides owning container, fertiliser and coal terminals at the port and owns the largest number of mobile harbour cranes at various ports in India. They also operate coal terminals at Haldia and Paradeep.
