Parekh Group-operated Seabird Marine Services Pvt Ltd’s CFS in Hazira Surat, has executed one more trade facilitation measure, looking to the requirements of the EXIM trade. The state-of-art container freight station, spread in an area of 13 acres, is now fully equipped to handle public bonded cargo merchandise. Covered bonded warehouse area measuring 2,500 square metres is earmarked and notified within the covered godown, which measures a total of 6,000 square metres.
Seabird CFS Hazira started operations in September 2016 and has since gained the trust and patronage of the EXIM customers through its service deliverables. The CFS is well manned by 24×7 security, CCTV cameras for round-the-clock surveillance with back-up, and most importantly a young and responsive team of personnel. A separate block houses a well kept canteen and offices for CFS users as well.
Seabird Marine Services Pvt. Limited also operates an empty park near the container freight station in Hazira, for handling empty containers and accommodating standalone M&R vendors.
The management of Parekh Group has said that with this permission for the Public Bonded Warehouse, a crucial, long-pending requirement of the EXIM trade in Hazira Surat has been met, and requested the trade to avail the services of the CFS for their public bonded warehouse requirements.
