The Consulate General of Nepal in Kolkata has requested all concerned shipping companies not to impose any container detention charges on the import and export shipments of Nepal for the period March 22 to April 27, 2020 which is the current duration of the lockdown in the country to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Due to the lockdown, some delays in cargo movement are inevitable, said a Consulate communiqué.
