The first Business Development Unit (BDU) meeting with freight customers was conducted by South Central Railway here. This is the second BDU meeting conducted by Headquarters Commercial Branch during the year 2023-24. K.R.K.Reddy, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, SCR, who conducted the BDU proceedings with freight customers, emphasized the freight customers to increase their Rail Co-efficient during the year 2023-24 and also apprised the customers to give their monthly projections of their loading/unloading. Freight customers were also advised to give their short-term and long-term projections so that SCR would plan to improve loading/unloading. Freight Customers were also requested to improve the wagon turnaround so as to increase the loading through Rail. Freight customers have thanked SCR for arranging BDU meetings for having detailed interaction with all cement plants in Tandur sector, duly raising certain issues and assured co-operation to increase the loading through Rail.
