30 students of various courses of Customs Clearance, International Freight Forwarding, International Business, Diploma in Customs Clearance and Freight Forwarding and BBA in Logistics visited Mundra Port on 10th November 2022 with the objective of gathering first-hand information on the actual port operations.
Students of different batches experienced and understood the actual meaning and applicability of the terms they are taught during the training and the modus operandi of the Logistics jargons.
Sharing their experiences the students have said that it was for the first time they could see and understand the formalities involved in the exports and imports. They were excited to learn the process of loading and unloading of the containers.
Students were also explained the process of deciding the type of ship to be used based on the category of cargo.
At the time of visit 6 ships were already berthed and the trainees were able to observe the actual operations of the ships.
