The ship carrying more than 3 vehicles of Chinese origin departed from Shanghai.

As of the end of 2021, approximately 200 thousand vehicles produced by Chinese automobile brands were sold to Middle Eastern countries.

While Chinese brands continued their growth in the countries of the region in 2022, they exported approximately 150 thousand vehicles to the region in the first half of the year.

On the other hand, China’s automobile exports entered a period of rapid growth in 2021. The country’s automobile exports increased by 2021 percent in 101,1 to 2 million 15 thousand units.

In the first ten months of the year, Chinese auto companies exported 54,1 million vehicles, up 2,45 percent year-on-year, according to the latest data released by the China Automobile Manufacturers Association. Among these, exports of new energy vehicles increased by 96,7 percent to 499 thousand.

China overtook Germany in new energy vehicle exports and ranked second after Japan.
