A delegation from the Transport and Social Infrastructure division, Frankfurt, Germany visited JN Port to discuss and identify investment opportunities in the port and port infrastructure sector in India.
Mr Neeraj Bansal, Chairman in-charge, JNPT welcomed the delegation led by Mr Uwe Mueller, Director and Team head, Transport and Social Infrastructure, along with Mr Jens-Oliver Schuenzel, Vice-President and Project Manager, Frankfurt, Germany.
JNPT’s Chief Traffic Manager, Dr Unnikrishnan Nair, briefed the delegation on the various capacity expansion projects being implemented at the port.
Mr Neeraj Bansal showcased the progress JNPT has made in the last few years and highlighted the trade-friendly steps implemented for boosting the trade. He also highlighted various initiatives under the government of India’s Sagarmala project.
