The Kerala State government is organising the trial run of the mega transhipment hub developed at Vizhinjam International seaport on July 12. The Kerala Government, along with VISL and AVPPL, plans to make it a grand event with the help of various agencies and organisations. On July 5, a meeting was convened at the port office to select the Organizing Committee for July 12’s function.
