In order to plan out better traffic movement and prevent heavy vehicles from entering the city, the Ghaziabad Development Authority has planned development of two logistics hubs for which land has been identified in Bhojpur and Kaushaliya each. The logistics hubs will ensure smooth movement of cargo at optimum logistics cost. A total of seven cities have been selected by the UP Government for development of logistics hubs, of these, Ghaziabad is among the top priority because of its close proximity to the NCR and further the land selected for the two above mentioned logistics hubs is located close to the Delhi-Meerut expressway. Heavy vehicles use Ghaziabad as the transit route due to which city roads get heavily chocked during the night time. To deal with this traffic issue 249 hectares of land has been identified in Kaushaliya ad about 60 hectares land is being marked out in Bhojpur for developing the logistics hub.
