JNPA on 11th December hosted a one-day workshop for VIBHAS, Navic Cell 12, and members from Centre for Maritime Economy and Connectivity. The workshop focused on crucial topics such as shipping bilateral arrangements and the establishment of green corridors for ports and economic corridors. The Port Chairman, Mr Unmesh Sharad Wagh, IRS, welcomed Mr Shyam Jagannathan, IAS, DG (Shipping), as a distinguished guest. The insightful session aimed to enhance understanding and foster collaboration within the maritime sector. Earlier officials from the Neel Arth Vision Cell, MoPSW, Director General Shipping, Chairman JNPA, and Deputy ChSPM Port convened at JNPA on Tuesday to finalize recommendations on international cooperation, focusing on aligning with the Maritime India Vision 2030 and Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.
